Edsential are delighted to welcome Rebecca Adlington as a key note speaker at our PE, Sport and Health conference Becky Adlington is the greatest swimmer Great Britain has ever produced, and shares the record as Great Britain’s most decorated female Olympian. After a glittering career in the pool which culminated in 2 Olympic Golds and later 2 Bronzes at London 2012, Becky has taken on her biggest challenge in swimming – setting out her legacy to see every child in the UK leaving primary school able to swim 25 metres.
As both a mother and a former swimmer, Becky recognises the importance of swimming as not only great physical activity, but as an essential life skill too. Rebecca has an interesting career and will share her experience and the importance of physical health for all young people .
